Restaurant/Tavern Recruiting Program

An aggressive program to promote the HERO Campaign for Designated Drivers® is launched in November, 2000, asking restaurant and tavern owners in Atlantic and Cape May Counties (John’s hometown area) to participate by displaying HERO Campaign posters and serving free soft drinks to designated drivers.

As a result of the hard work of the Elliotts and volunteers, over 150 establishments in the two counties now participate - saving countless tragic accidents from ever happening.
