The
Hero Campaign on Your College Campus
The Hero Campaign
for Designated Drivers is an effective way to prevent drunk
driving incidents and fatalities on and around college campuses.
To date, the United States Naval Academy and the University of Maryland
have officially adopted the Campaign, and are promoting it among
students and in the surrounding communities. The Student organizations
at several colleges in New Jersey and Pennsylvania are also starting
Hero Campaigns on their campuses.
The Hero Campaign
College Program includes the following:

Campaign Tee Shirts and Caps

Up Literature for Taverns and Bars
Ideally, the
program should be a partnership between the college administration,
student organizations and the surrounding community. Both the Naval
Academy and the University of Maryland are using this model to develop
strong and effective programs involving the entire community.
