A message from the top of the world: During a recent Arctic Ocean expedition, officers and crew of the submarine Santa Fe (SSN 763) surfaced near the North Pole and took the opportunity to show their support for the HERO Campaign.

1st Photo:
The message and photograph were the brainchild of Lt. Tyler Forrest (far right), a 2002 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and friend of John Elliott. Elliott graduated in 2000, just two months before losing his life to a drunk driver in his native New Jersey.
