ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (June 21, 2017) – Come raise a glass with the HERO Campaign for Designated Drivers at the “Great HEROtini® Mocktail Challenge” tasting event Monday, July 3 on the Atlantic City Boardwalk in front of Tropicana Casino Resort! The public is invited to sample non-alcoholic mocktail entries by local bartenders, choose their favorites and vote online at HEROtini.org.
The entertaining demonstration includes bartenders and drinks from the following Atlantic City bars and restaurants: Tropicana’s Boogie Nights, the Palm and Olon; Bally’s Beach Bar; Resorts’ Bar One; Hard Rock’s Hard Rock Café; Borgata’s B Bar; and the Golden Nugget’s Deck and Chart House.
“Signature mocktails are fun, refreshing and help designated drivers save lives,” said Bill Elliott, founder of the HERO Campaign for Designated Drivers. “We’re looking for the best-tasting, most creative mocktails created right here at the Jersey Shore – decided by the public.”
The “Great HEROtini® Mocktail Challenge” runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with 31 local bars and restaurants competing in four categories: Best HEROtini® Mocktail, Best Mocktail Name, Top HEROtini® Bartender, and Top HERO Establishment. The competition is presented by D’Amato Law Firm, Brown-Forman, Iron Workers Local 399 and The Press of Atlantic City, along with challenge sponsors AtlantiCare, the Metropolitan Business & Citizens Association and Guthrie Glass & Mirror.
