Remembering Michael T. Sot
Michael T. Sot was a sophomore at The College of New Jersey when he was tragically killed by a drunk driver while serving as the designated driver for his Phi Kappa Psi fraternity friends. He was a math major pursuing his dream of becoming an actuary.
Michael, a native of Clark, NJ, excelled in baseball and was a member of the National Honor Society in high school. He was thought to be someone on whom students, family, and friends could always rely to do the right thing.
Above all, Michael was a devoted son, brother, and grandson. The Sot family remembers Michael’s memory and commitment to designated driving by partnering with the John R. Elliott HERO Campaign to guarantee that other families do not go through what they did.
The Remembering Michael T. Sot HERO Walk is June 10, 2023. Registration is now open! Learn how you can participate and/or support this event here.
