From Thanksgiving Eve 2019 to New Year’s Day 2020, safe ride credits up to $20 will be available via Uber for patrons of participating HEROtini® establishments.
Just in time for the 2019 holiday season, the John R. Elliott HERO Campaign for Designated Drivers has created a new Holiday HEROES Safe Ride Program – the first in South Jersey. The goal is to keep roads safe in the Greater Atlantic City area.
The program is funded by the 2019 Great HEROtini® Mocktail Challenge – a summer-long competition among 31 leading bars, taverns and casino clubs in the Atlantic City area – and grants from Uber, the CRDA and Kramer Beverage.
“The Holiday HEROES Safe Ride Program allows the public to celebrate responsibly and know that they can get a safe ride home, courtesy of the John R. Elliott HERO Campaign,” said HERO Campaign Chairman and CEO Bill Elliott. “Having a safe ride home is the best way to have fun and prevent drunk driving tragedies.”
